and I was proudly born and raised in the deep south city of
Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
I currently reside in Portland, Oregon
I've been compulsively creating since I was a young child, encouraged by both my creative parents and siblings. I revel in quick and fluid drawings and enjoy the challenge to turn these quick moments on paper into something more communicative and complete. I was formally trained in printmaking and drawing at the LSU School of Art + Design, though I derive equal pleasure from printmaking, photography, painting, drawing, hand embroidery, sewing, digital photo manipulation, and most recently tattooing.
To me, art is problem solving and I love finding solutions.
